Motorcyclists hospitalized after Burlington crash

Two motorcyclists were hospitalized after a wreck in the 1100 block of Anthony Road at 4:15 p.m. Saturday, Burlington police said.

BURLINGTON, N.C. — Two motorcyclists were hospitalized after a wreck in the 1100 block of Anthony Road at 4:15 p.m. Saturday, Burlington police said.

Police determined that both motorcycles were traveling north on Anthony Road when they each left the right side of the curved roadway.

Curtis Glenn Savage, whose age was not released, of Rouggemont, was transported by helicopter to UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill. His condition was not available.

Thomas Visitor Hargis Jr., whose age was not released, of Roxboro, was transported by helicopter to Duke Medical Center in Durham. He was listed Sunday in critical condition.
