RALEIGH, N.C. — A man died Monday after crashing his motorcycle into a building in downtown Raleigh.

Around 1:15 a.m., officers with the Raleigh Police Department responded to a crash involving one motorcyclist on Edenton Street at West Street.

The driver, Michael Braddock Allison, 31, from Garner, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigations revealed that Allison was traveling west on Edenton Street on his 2012 Harley Davidson when he missed a curve and slid off the road into a brick wall.

Officials believe alcohol could be a factor in the wreck.
