MORRISVILLE, N.C. — Morrisville police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects wanted in connection with a home invasion and shooting that occurred last month.

Four armed men barged into an apartment in the Bristol at Park West Village complex, 3000 Bristol Creek Drive, on March 16, police said.

One person was shot in the leg, and another was hit in the face. Both were taken to Duke University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Later that evening, police spotted a red Dodge Charger that matched the description of a vehicle leaving the scene of the shooting and a chase ensued. The suspects were able to get away.

According to police, the shooting was a random act and the apartment occupants said they did not know the gunmen.

The Charger has a temporary license plate and a bullet hole in the right side, according to investigators.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of the two men is asked to call police at 919-463-1653 or Crime Stoppers at 919-463-1577.
