DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police on Thursday arrested a Morrisville man on child exploitation charges.

Michael Robert Kelly, 40, was charged with five counts each of second-degree exploitation of a minor and third-degree exploitation of a minor. He was being held Thursday in the Durham County jail under a $175,000 bond.

Members of the Durham Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force began an online investigation in January, which led to the charges, police said.
