Morehead Planetarium holds teen science cafe Friday

The focus is on the plague and why scientists continue to study the age-old disease.

Morehead Planetarium and Science Center in Chapel Hill continues its Open Minds Cafe for teens with a session Friday evening.

This month's cafe will feature Dr. Bill Goldman, who will talk about the plague and why researchers are continuing to study the disease.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for pizza. The talk starts at 6 p.m. This is just for teens. You must be at least 13 to attend. It's free. No pre-registration is required.
