More charges filed against suspected Fayetteville spree robbers
Two men charged in a string of robberies in Fayetteville last weekend now faces charges related to the theft and burning of a work van earlier this month, authorities said Friday.

Christopher Martin Gordon, 25, of Salmon Drive in Fayetteville, and Don Antonio Flournoy, 47, of Abundant Drive in Hope Mills, are charged with three counts of breaking and entering of a motor vehicle, larceny of a motor vehicle, possession of a stolen motor vehicle, felony larceny, possession of stolen goods, burning of personal property, second-degree arson and felony conspiracy.
The charges stem from the July 2 theft of a van and utility trailer from Nathan’s Heating and Air Conditioning on Camden Road, authorities said. The van was later found burning behind a home at 247 Skinner Road.
Investigators said other vehicles belonging to Nathan’s Heating had also been broken into.
Martin and Flournoy were arrested late Monday and charged in nine robberies in Fayetteville between Saturday and Monday. The robberies occurred at eight gas station convenience stores and a Subway restaurant.
Spring Lake police charged Gordon Thursday with the attempted robbery of a Family Dollar store on Monday.
