Moore County pair accused of robbing man with a knife

A 22-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman were arrested and charged Wednesday with robbing a man at knife point.

CARTHAGE, N.C. — A 22-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman were arrested and charged Wednesday with robbing a man with a knife.

Jarod Lee Mills, of 141 Wright Court in Vass, and Nichole Jeannine Gibson, of 124 Helen Lane in Cameron, are each charged with felony robbery with a dangerous weapon. Both remained in the Moore County jail Wednesday, each with a $500,000 bond. 

Both suspects are scheduled to appear in court July 8.

Mills and Gibson are accused of robbing a man near the intersection of Cool Springs Road and Glendon Carthage Road in Carthage, according to the Moore County Sheriff's Office. The victim's money was in their possession when they were arrested, deputies said.
