Moogfest to host record store pop-up parties

Listening parties, festival ticket deals and more planned.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Moogfest is teaming up with local record stores to host a series of pop-up parties.

The parties will include ticket deals, curated collections and listening parties of Moogfest artists.

The series began on Saturday at All Day Records in Carrboro and will continue Thursday at Carolina Soul Records, 117 E Main St., in Durham from 5 to 8 p.m.

On April 16, Moogfest will take part in Schoolkids Records' massive Record Store Day celebration. The event will include in-store promos.

The series concludes in Durham at Bull City Records, 2600 Hillsborough Road, on April 21 with a DJ set by Nick Sanborn of Made of Oak and Sylvan Esso as well as other area DJs. The event runs 6 to 8 p.m.

At all locations, there will be $99 student tickets available to those with valid student IDs.
