Monday meal plan 9-20

Spinach enchiladas - using frozen Green Giant creamy spinach from HT super doubles, large Old El Paso tortillas from HT super doubles, Old El Paso enchilada sauce with coupon from HT super doubles through 9/21,  tomatoes from our garden, cheese free from Kroger deal about a month ago

Whole grain rice

Grapes – on sale at Harris Teeter for .99/lb through 9/21 and .99/lb at Kroger through 9/25

Whole wheat pasta with marina sauce and parmesan

Breadsticks - on sale with coupon during HT super doubles through 9/21

Salad using romaine on sale at Food Lion for $1.29 through 9/21, tomatoes from our garden, cukes on sale .50 at HT through 9/21, green pepper on sale at Food Lion for .59 through 9/21

Easy Crockpot BBQ Beef (recipe below) – London broil bought on sale for $2.49/lb recently, BBQ sauce .25 from recent sales with coupon

Biscuits – Free at HT super doubles through 9/21 with sale and $1/2 coupon at Pillsbury.com

Au Gratin Potatoes - Betty Crocker potatoes free during HT super doubles through 9/21 with sale and coupon

Broccoli spears - Green Giant boxed veggies on sale at HT with super doubles through 9/21

Shrimp and Pasta - Food Lion frozen shrimp BOGO through 9/21

Sautéed veggies - Green bell peppers .59 each and Baby portabella mushrooms, 8 oz $1.99 at Food Lion through 9/21

Apple slices – Golden delicious apples on sale at Kroger through 9/25 for .88/lb

Pizza night – Mystic pizzas on sale BOGO recently with coupon

Tomato and cucumber salad - tomatoes from our garden, cukes on sale for .50 at HT through 9/21

Pear slices - .99/lb at HT through 9/21

Grilled chicken wraps – chicken breast $1.79/lb at Lowes Foods a few weeks ago, Old El Paso tortillas on sale through 9/21 at HT with coupon, romaine lettuce on sale $1.29 at FL through 9/21, salsa free at HT a few weeks ago with sale and coupon, tomatoes from our garden, cheese free from Kroger about a month ago with sale, promo and coupon

Corn (hoping there is some fresh corn on sale starting Wednesday, if not - it will be Green Giant creamed corn)

Green veggie of some kind – depends on what is on sale starting Wednesday

You can use beef, chicken or pork in this delicious and easy barbecue recipe.

Salt and pepper to taste

Put beef in slow cooker. Season with garlic, salt and pepper. Pour barbecue sauce over meat and add onion. Cover and cook on Low for 7 to 8 hours, until fully cooked and tender. Check at 7 hours to see if done. Serve whole or pull apart to make BBQ sandwiches. Serves 4. Delicious!
