Missing Raleigh men subjects of Silver Alerts
A 64-year-old Raleigh man who is believed to be cognitively impaired, went missing Monday, prompting authorities to issue a Silver Alert.

Between 10:30 and 11 p.m., the North Carolina Center for Missing Persons issued two Silver Alerts in the Raleigh area – one for 64-year-old Roman Green Jr. and another for 27-year-old Travis Lamont Wilson.
Green, who was last seen at 1606 Pender St. on Jan. 12, is black, with black hair and brown eyes. He wears glasses, stands 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs about 135 pounds.
Wilson was last seen at 330 S. Salisbury St. heading east toward Blount Street and wearing a white T-shirt and white pants, police said. He could be headed to a library in the Zebulon or Wendell areas.
He has a sore on his right shoulder from a stab wound and is black, with black hair and brown eyes, 5-feet-9 and about 190 pounds.
Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to call police at 919-996-3335 or 919-996-2000.
Developed in 2007, Silver Alert is a system to quickly notify the public about missing endangered adults who suffer from dementia or other cognitive impairments, such as Alzheimer's disease.
It also allows caregivers and nursing homes to report a person missing. In the past, only a family member could report an adult missing.
