RALEIGH, N.C. — A Pentecostal minister pleaded guilty in federal court Wednesday to receiving child pornography.

Timothy Jack Strickland, 42, of Mount Olive, was found in possession of child pornography after a Federal Bureau of Investigation task force officer discovered such files on his computer.

Approximately 11,000 images of child pornography were found after authorities seized a laptop, several hard drives and other media devices from his home.

Strickland, who is scheduled to be sentenced in August, could face up to 20 years in prison.
