Mini music fest to benefit child battling cancer
On March 23, four venues in downtown Raleigh will host a mini music festival to benefit a local boy battling cancer.

On March 23, four venues in downtown Raleigh will host a mini music festival to benefit a local boy battling cancer.
Hopscotch Music Festival organized the event to help one of its own – Oliver Gant, the son of Jedidiah Gant, whose been a friend of Hopscotch from its inception.
Here's a look at the lineup for Racing the Cure: A benefit for Oliver Gant:
8:15 -8:45 p.m.: Jack the Radio
9 - 9:40 p.m.: Schooner
10 - 10:40 p.m.: Filthybird
11 -11:40 p.m.: The Old Ceremony
Midnight–12:25 a.m.: The Avett Brothers
12:30 a.m.: Ivan Rosebud & JYU
8:15 - 8:45 p.m.: Gross Ghost
9 - 9:45 p.m.: Spider Bags
10 - 10:45 p.m.: Patty Hurst Shifter
11–11:45 p.m.: Birds of Avalon
Midnight: The Love Language

9 - 9:45 p.m.: Hammer No More The Fingers

Doors open at 7:30 p.m. You will need to contact the venues for age restrictions.
Tickets are $25 and get you into all four venues. As of Monday, just over 200 tickets remained.
Wristbands can be picked up at the door of each venue on the night of the show.
UPDATE: March 12, 2012 - The benefit has sold out! Organizers said it has raised $44,000 for the family.
