RALEIGH, N.C. — Miley Cyrus canceled her "Bangerz" tour stop in Charlotte scheduled for Monday night after coming down with the flu, concert promoter Live Nation said in a press release.
Cyrus has been ordered to rest, but she is expected to perform Tuesday night at the PNC Arena in Raleigh. Tickets are still available.

The Charlotte cancelation took place minutes before the singer was to take the stage at the Time Warner Cable Arena. Tickets will be refunded at the point of purchase with online and phone orders being automatically refunded.

Cyrus Tweeted that she was in "excruciating pain" last night. It is unclear if she was referencing the flu or her emotional state after the recent death of her dog, Floyd. Over the weekend, she sang to a giant replica of the dog during her show in Brooklyn.
