Kids as young as two can participate in Meredith College's Community Day of Dance on Jan. 21 in Raleigh.

The event is a fundraiser for Meredith's chapter of Nu Delta Alpha, a national honor society for dance. The event gives dancers a chance to take classes and share their choreographic works with Meredith dance students.

There will be a variety of classes focusing on many different dance styles. Many of the programs are for kids ages 6 and up. An introduction to dance class is designed for kids 2 to 5. This sounds like a great opportunity for young dancers out there or, young kids, who think they might be interested in dance.

Each 45-minute class costs $15; 90-minute classes are $20 each. For the full schedule, click here. Registration is required.
