RALEIGH, N.C. — Police are trying to identify two men suspected in two armed robberies in recent weeks.

Two men robbed the Bojangle's restaurant at 3920 Jones Sausage Road as an employee opened for business on Sept. 23, police said. A week later, two men approached two employees who had just closed the Food Lion store at 7440 Louisburg Road, ordered them back inside at gunpoint and robbed the store, police said.

One man is described as black, about 6 feet, 3 inches tall and 180 pounds. He wore a black mask with exterior stitching and during both robberies wore a distinctive Under Armour-brand black shirt made of “shiny” fabric.

The other man is described as black, about 5 feet, 8 inches tall and 170 pounds. He used clothing tied around his face to disguise his appearance.

Anyone with information in either of the robberies is asked to call the Raleigh Police Department’s Detective Division at 919-890-3555 or CrimeStoppers at 919-226-CRIME.
