ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. — Rocky Mount police said four men were shot at while driving away from a club where they had been in an altercation with up to a half-dozen other men early Sunday.

Police said that an on-duty officer heard shots from the area of Mosley Court shortly before 3 a.m., then saw a vehicle speeding away. A state trooper pulled over the vehicle.

Investigators said they determined the vehicle's four occupants had been shot at while they were leaving Club Low Key. The men told police they had been in an altercation with four to six other men at the club earlier.

No arrests have been made in the shooting.

Troopers charged the driver, Daniel Bandy Jr., with driving while impaired. The front passenger, Darrell Bandy, was served with two outstanding warrants.
