Men sentenced for dealing drugs in Vance County

Jonathan Jordan, 27, of Franklin, and Stephon Bullock, 39, of Henderson, both pleaded guilty to conspiring to distribute more than 5 kilograms of cocaine base, more than 50 grams of cocaine base, more than 100 grams of heroin and a quantity of marijuana.

Jordan was sentenced to nearly 25 years in prison, and Bullock to more than 18 years.

The investigation into the men began with a domestic violence call to a residence on Keene Street in 2007, according to a release from U.S. Attorney George E.B. Holding. Officers found Jordan and six other people in the house, along with a half-kilo of crack.

Investigation revealed that Bullock had sold the crack to Jordan and that he had been selling drugs since at least 2005, Holding said. Bullock was arrested after selling drugs to an undercover officer.

Bullock had been convicted on two counts of possession with intent to sell in 1999 in Vance County, according to Department of Correction records.

DOC records show that Jordan is already in state prison, serving an 8-month prison for violating his probation. That probation stemmed from 2006 convictions for accessory after the fact for discharging a firearm into property and speeding to elude arrest. He also has convictions for assault inflicting serious injuries, assault on a female and possession with intent to sell.
