RAEFORD, N.C. — Hoke County authorities said Friday that they have arrested two Raeford men in connection with an armed robbery at a local online sweepstakes business.

Javonda Eugene Sentel Morris, 29, of 291 Tonya Loop, and Glen Edward Maynor, 16, of 300 Purvis Court, were charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, first-degree kidnapping and conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon. Three men brandishing guns went into Lucky Charm Sweepstakes, on U.S. Highway 401 Business, shortly before midnight Wednesday, and one held a gun to the head of a customer as the men demanded money, authorities said. No one was injured in the robbery, and the men fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, authorities said.
