Medical Examiner: Durham Man Died of Natural Causes
A Durham man who was found dead in his home Saturday died of natural causes, the State Medical Examiner’s Office reported on Monday.

Initially, Durham police said they were investigating the death of Jasper Rhodes, 49, as suspicious. Medical reports, however, later indicated that Rhodes died of natural causes.
Officers found Rhodes dead in a front room of his home on Martha Street on Saturday afternoon. At the time, police said they believed Rhodes had not died in his home and someone had left his body in the house.
