Mark your calendars to see Washington's teeth
The N.C. Museum of History willl be host to a traveling exhibit about George Washington, which includes his dentures.
Posted — UpdatedVisitors will get to see about 100 original objects associated with George Washington, including the only surviving complete set of his dentures (which I've seen a picture of and, let me just say, aren't pretty). The exhibit will run from Sept. 10 to Jan. 21.
The exhibit also explores the influence of Martha Washington and includes some of her jewelry and china and a reproduction of her gold wedding dress and purple satin slippers.
Admission will be free for ages 18 and under. The fee will $10 for ages 19 and up; $8 for senior citizens, active military personnel and students with an ID.
