Marbles sets date for year-round Kick-Off to Kindergarten

The annual event celebrates their big move to grade school and offers some fun and free activities that will help to get them ready.

Summer break just started for some kids, but, for others, it's winding down. Year-round students will return to school next month.

For rising year-round kindergartners, Marbles Kids Museum is holding a special Kick-off to Kindergarten just for them. The annual event celebrates their big move to grade school and offers some fun and free activities that will help to get them ready.

The Year-Round Kick-Off to Kindergarten is 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, June 25. The special after-hours event is free for rising kindergartners and their families. Activities include the chance to board a school bus, take part in recess activities, check out circle times and more.

For rising kindergartners going to a traditional calendar school, the Kick-Off to Kindergarten is 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Aug. 22. (I'll be there with my little one!).
