Marbles hosts 'noon year's eve' Wednesday

If even the 7 p.m. acorn drop at downtown Raleigh's First Night is too late for your little one (and I've been there!), Marbles Kids Museum has an even earlier event to mark the turn to 2015.

Noon Year's Eve at Marbles
If even the 7 p.m. acorn drop at downtown Raleigh's First Night is too late for your little one (and I've been there!), Marbles Kids Museum in Raleigh has an even earlier event to mark the turn to 2015.

Noon Year's Eve starts at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday. It includes a ringing in of the "noon" year with bubble wrap "fireworks" and a fun ball drop. It's all free with admission, which is $5 per person. I took my kids last year and we had a blast.

Also, don't forget: Marbles will have special hours and an admission deal on Thursday.
