Man, woman killed in Harnett home
Harnett County authorities said Friday they had a suspect in custody in the shooting deaths of a man and a woman in a house near Coats.

A family member found the victims, whose names haven't been released, shot inside the home at 861 Johnson Road at about 10:40 a.m., authorities said.
Deputies found a third person unconscious in the home with no apparent injuries, authorities said.
Authorities said someone had been detained in the case, which is being investigated as a double homicide, but no charges had been filed by Friday evening.
It was unclear whether the unconscious person was the suspect.
The two victims and the suspect were family members or were related by marriage, authorities said.
No other details, including a possible motive, have been released.
