Man wanted on harassment, domestic violence charges arrested

Durham police investigators were searching Thursday for Kenneth Ross English, 30, of Hancock Street, who is wanted on harassment and domestic-violence charges.

DURHAM, N.C. — Police on Thursday arrested a man wanted on harassment and domestic-violence charges.

Officers arrested Kenneth Ross English, 30, of Hancock Street, while he was on Carr Road

English faces two counts of violating a domestic violence protective order and one count each of intimidation of a witness and making harassing or threatening telephone calls.

According to the state Department of Correction records, English has an extensive criminal record in Wake and Durham counties dating back to 1997. He was most recently arrested in the theft of more than 200 storm grates in Durham that were stolen and then sold for scrap metal in Garner.
