Man wanted in robbery of Fayetteville convenience store

Cumberland County sheriff's detectives are seeking the public's help to identify a man wanted in connection with the armed robbery of a Kangaroo convenience store.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Cumberland County sheriff's detectives are seeking the public's help to identify a man wanted in connection with the armed robbery of a Kangaroo convenience store. 

According to investigators, the man entered the store, at 3123 Murphy Road, at about 5:45 a.m. Tuesday and took an undisclosed amount of money. 

He fled from the area from the rear of the building. No injuries were reported in the robbery. 

Anyone who can identify the subject captured in surveillance video images should call the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office at 910-323-1500.
