Man wanted in fatal Fayetteville shooting arrested

A man wanted in connection with a fatal shooting in Fayetteville in October was arrested Tuesday, police said.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A man wanted in connection with a fatal shooting in Fayetteville in October was arrested Tuesday, police said.

Terrance Justin Holmes, 22, of Currie Street, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Domonte Briggs.

Briggs was shot on Cool Spring Street on Oct. 27, and he died a week later.

Police haven't released other details of the case, such as a possible motive or what evidence links Holmes to the crime.
