SEVEN LAKES, N.C. — A 19-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy were arrested Wednesday in the May 10 robbery of a Seven Lakes restaurant.

Owner Aiyou Jiang told police that armed people entered the Peeking Wok restaurant and stole money and other items at gunpoint.

The Moore County Sheriff's Office received an anonymous tip that the people who committed the robbery were living at 3680 N.C. Highway 211 in West End.

Deputies arrested Jaron Lamar Baldwin, 19, there. They said they also found marijuana plants and drug paraphernalia.

Baldwin was charged with three counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon and one count each of conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon, manufacturing a controlled substance, possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver marijuana and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Authorities also charged a 15-year-old in the restaurant robbery. His name was not released because he is being prosecuted as a juvenile.

Baldwin was placed in the Moore County Detention Center under a $200,000 secured bond. His first court appearance was set for June 17.
