Man struck, killed by car in Durham
A pedestrian died after being hit by a vehicle at Holloway Street and Junction Road in Durham shortly before midnight Saturday.
Posted — UpdatedDURHAM, N.C. — A pedestrian died after being hit by a vehicle at Holloway Street and Junction Road in Durham shortly before midnight Saturday.
Police said Charles Anthony Smith, 49, of Holloway Street, stepped in front a car and was struck.
More details, including the identity of the driver, haven't been released. The driver did stop and call police.
No charges have been filed.
