<b>FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.</b> — The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting early Tuesday in which a man was wounded.

Deputies said the shooting took place at 327 Charles St. in a neighborhood just outside Fayetteville around 12:30 a.m. The victim was taken to the Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

More details, including the victim's name, haven't been released.
