Man shoots wife, kills self at Knightdale home
A man shot his wife inside their Knightdale home Saturday afternoon before turning the gun on himself, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers found the man dead in a bedroom inside the home at 201 Hope Valley Road shortly after 4 p.m. The couple's 14-year-old daughter was home at the time but was not injured, police said.
A neighbor, who did not want to be identified, said she saw the girl run from the home screaming late in the afternoon.
The identities of those involved were withheld while police worked to notify relatives.
