Man robs Cumberland Road Family Dollar

Cumberland County sheriff's deputies are looking for a gunman who robbed a Family Dollar store, at 3734 Cumberland Road, Monday night.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Cumberland County sheriff’s deputies are looking for a gunman who robbed a Family Dollar store, at 3734 Cumberland Road, Monday night.

According to the sheriff's office, the man asked the cashier for a "blunt" wrapper, then showed a gun and demanded all the money from the register.

Deputies and dogs tracked him across the street, but then lost the trail.

Surveillance video shows a thin, black man about 6 feet tall wearing a dark skull cap, sunglasses, dark jacket with a red color and a white T-shirt.

The clerk said the man's gun was also black.
