A jury ordered a man involved in the death of a guide dog to pay nearly $500,000 in damages Friday.
Posted — UpdatedHILLSBOROUGH — A jury ordered a man involved in the death of a guide dog to pay nearly $500,000 in damages Friday.
Last year, Stephen Coffee pleaded guilty to DWI and felony hit-and-run for a crash involving Aofie Iredale and her dog in 2005. Iredale survived, but her dog died.
Coffee argued another man drove him home that night.
