Man killed in Thanksgiving shooting at Henderson church
A 28-year-old man was shot and killed Thursday night at United Prayer of Faith Holiness Church on Miriam Street in Henderson, police said.

Officers responding to a shooting call about 10 p.m. found Barry Wilkerson, of Nicholas Street, with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other information about the shooting was immediately available, but police said no church-related activities were going on at the time of the shooting. An investigation is under way.
