A man died Saturday night in a single-vehicle wreck along Richardson Road in Johnston County, state troopers said.

<b>ZEBULON, N.C.</b> — A man died Saturday night in a single-vehicle wreck along Richardson Road in Johnston County, state troopers said.

Reginald Wayne Lucas, 40, was driving south when his vehicle ran off the right side of the road, troopers said. He brought it back onto the road but swerved off the left side.

The vehicle struck the bank of a ditch and flipped over several times, tossing out Lucas.

Troopers said they suspect that alcohol played a part in the wreck.

HOUSTON (AP) — Fast-moving thunderstorms pummeled southeastern Texas on Thursday for the second time this month, killing at least four people, blowing out windows in high-rise buildings, downing trees and knocking out power to more than 900,000 homes and businesses in the Houston area.
