Police found a 41-year-old man who had been shot lying on the side of the road at 610 Troy St. in Durham early Sunday, officers said.

<b>DURHAM, N.C.</b> — Police found a 41-year-old man who had been shot lying on the side of the road at 610 Troy St. in Durham early Sunday, officers said.

The man, whose name wasn't released, was transported to Duke University Hospital, where he died of his wounds, police said.

Police released no other details of the case.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Durham police at 919-560-4440, extension 264, or Crime Stoppers at 919-683-1200.
