Man killed by falling tree in Raleigh neighborhood
A 29-year-old man died Tuesday morning after being hit by a falling tree on Valley Brook Drive in Raleigh, Wake County Sheriff Donnie Harrison said.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A 29-year-old man died Tuesday morning after being hit by a falling tree on Valley Brook Drive in Raleigh, Wake County Sheriff Donnie Harrison said.
Anthony T. Wright of Mebane, worked for Davey, a tree removal company in Morrisville. He was taken to WakeMed following the incident.
Wake County deputies and officials from the North Carolina Department of Labor are investigating the incident.
Department of Labor officials said Davey has been inspected three times in the past five years and has had no violations.
