Man injured, dog killed in Garner house fire
A man was injured and a dog died late Monday in a house fire in Garner.
Posted — UpdatedGARNER, N.C. — A man was injured and a dog died late Monday in a house fire in Garner.
Fire broke out in the garage of the Southerlund Road home at about 7:30 p.m. It's unclear what caused the blaze.
Officials said three people were inside the home when the fire started.
A man whose name has not been released was taken to UNC Hospitals to be treated for burns. His condition has not been released.
No other injuries were reported.
