Man hit, killed by vehicle in Garner
A vehicle hit and killed an Angier man who walked into U.S. Highway 70 in Garner Sunday night, state troopers said.
Posted — UpdatedGARNER, N.C. — A vehicle hit and killed an Angier man on U.S. Highway 70 in Garner Sunday night, state troopers said.
Troopers said they don't know why Everett Hurley Jr., 47, walked into the westbound lanes of U.S. 70, near Interstate 40, shortly before 10 p.m.
No charges were filed against the driver.
