Man hit by car after alleged theft at Greenville Walmart
Greenville police, responding to a shoplifting report from the Walmart at Greenville Boulevard and Landmark Street, chased a suspect on foot onto Greenville Boulevard where he ran into traffic and was hit.

Ryan B. Ikeya, 20, of Greenville, was taken to Pitt County Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening, according to police.
He faces charges of failure to yield to a vehicle, possession of alcohol by a person under 21 and larceny.
