RALEIGH, N.C. — Police found a man shot and lying in a street intersection Tuesday afternoon, they said.
Delquon Covington was bleeding when officers found him at about 5:15 p.m. at South Haywood Street and Hay Lane, said Jim Sughrue, spokesman for the Raleigh Police Department.
An ambulance took Covington to WakeMed, Sughrue said. Officials didn't say how many times he had been shot or how seriously he was hurt.
