<b>DURHAM, N.C.</b> — Police evacuated a Durham neighborhood Tuesday morning as officers responded to a man threatening suicide.

Officers blocked off the 100 blocks of West Lynch Street and West Seeman Street and tried to communicate with the man inside a Lynch Street home. Police also used a robot to help assess the situation.

Members of the Selective Enforcement Team went into the house around noon and found the man dead inside, police said.
