Man fatally shot in Goldsboro
Officers responded to a shots-fired call on the 400 block of Woodrow Street at about 3:20 a.m. and found Larry Donnell Mathis Jr., 34, of Goldsboro, lying dead on the ground.

Officers responded to a shots-fired call on the 400 block of Woodrow Street at about 3:20 a.m. and found Larry Donnell Mathis Jr., 34, lying dead on the ground.
No other details of the incident were released.
