Man dies in Enfield shooting
A 20-year-old Enfield man died after being shot late Sunday, Halifax County authorities said.

The shooting was reported shortly after 10:30 p.m.
The victim, whose name has not been released, was taken to Nash General Hospital and later airlifted to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, where he was pronounced dead.
No other details were released, but Halifax County Sheriff Wes Tripp said his investigators have "multiple suspects" in the case and are following up on leads.
