Man charged in Raleigh bank robbery try

A man has been arrested in the robbery of a Raleigh bank 10 days ago, police said Friday.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A man has been arrested in the aborted robbery of a Raleigh bank 10 days ago, police said Friday.

Philip Tameen Janvier, 34, of 2701 Maybrook Crossing, was taken into custody Thursday and charged with attempted common law robbery, police said.

A man walked into the Bank of America branch at 2499 Crabtree Blvd. on Sept. 20 and passed a note to a teller demanding money. But he fled before getting any, police said.
