Man causes commotion at Raleigh cinema

Raleigh police are investigating a disturbance that happened late Thursday at the Mission Valley Cinema on Avent Ferry Road.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police are investigating a disturbance that happened late Thursday at the Mission Valley Cinema on Avent Ferry Road.

Witnesses told officers that a man began crashing his vehicle into several other vehicles in the parking lot, then went into the theater and started screaming. The commotion prompted some customers to leave, and the man eventually left.

Police said they have a suspect, but no arrests have been made. The incident happened around 10 p.m.

No one was injured.
