Man burned in Durham shed fire

Durham firefighters say a man was severely burned when a shed caught fire Saturday afternoon.

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham firefighters say a man was severely burned when a shed caught fire Saturday afternoon.

The man suffered severe burns to the lower half of his body in the fire at 1025 Lemon Drive around 2 p.m., firefighters said. He was taken to Duke Hospital.

His name wasn't released, and there was no word on what started the fire.
