Man arrested in fatal Goldsboro shooting

Goldsboro police arrested a 17-year-old man Tuesday in connection with the shooting death of Delinado Alijuwon Miller in May.

GOLDSBORO, N.C. — Goldsboro police arrested a 17-year-old man Tuesday in connection with the shooting death of Delinado Alijuwon Miller in May.

Qua'Twon Shaquill Tyrek King, of 209 Shaw Court, was charged with murder and held at the Wayne County jail without bond.

Police say King shot Miller in the 600 block of West Holly Street in the West Haven Housing Community around 11 p.m. on May 30. 

Miller, 23, who lived nearby on the 800 block of West Oak Street, was pronounced dead at the scene.

It wasn't clear whether the two men knew each other.

The investigation is ongoing, police said, and more arrests are possible. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 919-580-4213 or Crime Stoppers at 919-735-2255.
