Man arrested in connection with Mount Olive shooting

A Mount Olive woman was injured Sunday evening in a shooting at the Neighborhood Food and Grill on Pollock Street, police said.

MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. — A Mount Olive woman was injured Sunday evening in a shooting at the Neighborhood Food and Grill on Pollock Street, police said.

The bullet grazed above the eye of Zealtrice Renee Seaberry, 23, causing non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Police Chief Brian Rhodes said that investigators arrested Patrick Antonio Armwood, 25, at a home in Durham a few hours after the shooting. 

Armwood, of 510 E. Pollock St., is charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and discharging a weapon into an occupied property. He was in Wayne County jail Tuesday under a $110,000 bond.
