Man, 17, charged with middle school break-in
A 17-year-old man was charged Friday with breaking into Fuquay-Varina Middle School earlier this month, according to arrest warrants.

Rahzay Melguan Garrett, of Fuquay-Varina, broke windows to get into the school at 109 N. Ennis St. on May 9, warrants say. A TV, guitar and microphones worth $2,000 were stolen.
The warrants say that Garrett also encouraged an 11-year-old and 13-year-old to help him in the break-ins.
Garrett was charged with felony breaking-and-entering, larceny after breaking-and-entering, contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile, misdemeanor larceny, injury to real property, misdemeanor possession of stolen goods and drug possession.
He was being in the Wake County jail Saturday under a $16,000 bond. His first court appearance was set for Monday.
Garrett was serving an 18-month probation sentence after being convicted of felony breaking-and-entering and felony possession of stolen goods on Feb. 4, according to state Department of Correction records.
