Mall officers chase, capture theft suspect

Johnathan Halim, 17, of 525 Illeagnes Road, led officers through the mall, the parking lot and busy streets nearby before his capture.

The warrant for his arrest accuses Halim of stealing about $75 worth of merchandise – a wallet from Sears and some costume jewelery from Buckle. He faces charges of larceny, possession of stolen goods and resisting an officer, and was being held on $4,000 bond.
